I'm looking at purchasing two new door shells for my GMC truck. It's titled as a '72 but I'm not so sure everything on the cab is. Can anyone tell me the difference in the door shells between the '71 and '72? My old doors do not have the screw holes located at the base of the wing window but they could have been altered. Are there any differences in the roller tracks for the window on the inside of the door? I tried a used (supposed) '72 door on the FB place and the window will not line up. The glass goes up and hits the weather-strip by the wing window but I have a 1/2" gap towards the rear of the door. I'm so frustrated and confused on what to get. I would really like to get something so I can just drive my rig. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
